Why scans come out sideways
Phone scanner apps and office copiers guess which way is up, and they often guess wrong for landscape pages, ID cards and receipts. The result is a PDF where some pages have to be read with your head tilted. That is more than an annoyance: officers who review visa, Emirates ID or bank applications may reject a file that is hard to read, and online portals do not let them rotate it. Fixing the orientation before you upload makes your document look professional and saves a round trip.
Rotation without losing quality
This tool does not re-scan, re-render or compress your pages. A PDF stores the orientation of each page as a simple setting, and the tool only changes that setting. Text stays sharp and selectable, signatures and stamps stay exactly as they were, links keep working, and the file size barely changes. The page previews are drawn on your device with pdf.js, the same open-source viewer used in Firefox, and the saving is done with pdf-lib, so the document never leaves your phone or computer.
One page or the whole document
Mixed documents are common: a contract with one landscape table, a bundle where only the passport scan is sideways, or a presentation printed to PDF upside down. You can turn each page on its own, or turn everything at once and then fix the exceptions. Rotations add up, so two clicks to the right turn a page upside down, and four clicks bring it back. Pages you do not touch are saved exactly as they were, including any rotation they already had.
Works with the other PDF tools
Rotating is usually one step in a longer job. After fixing the orientation you can merge the corrected file with other documents using Merge PDF, or pull out only the pages a portal asks for with Split PDF. Each tool runs in the browser in the same private way, works on Android, iPhone, Windows and Mac, and has no limit on how many files you process. If your PDF is password-protected, open it with its password, save an unprotected copy and rotate that copy.
