Why we built this

Most free tool sites are built for an American or European user. They ask you to upload private documents to unknown servers, bury the result under pop-ups, and know nothing about gratuity rules, Hijri dates or Arabic amounts on a cheque. NeedMyTools starts from the Gulf instead: the documents residents actually prepare, the calculations employers and employees actually argue about, and full Arabic support written by people who use Arabic, not a machine.

How it works

  1. Open a tool. There is nothing to install and no account to create.
  2. Do the job. File tools run inside your browser, so your documents stay on your device.
  3. Download or copy the result. If the tool helped, you can choose to get updates or support the project. Both are optional.

Your privacy, in plain words

We count visits and tool usage anonymously so we know which tools to improve. We do not store your IP address and we do not use tracking cookies. If you choose to leave your email or phone number, we use it only for updates you agreed to, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Frequently asked questions

Are the tools really free?

Yes. Every tool on NeedMyTools is free to use with no signup and no limit on how many times you use it. The site is supported by ads and by optional donations from people who find it useful.

Do you upload my PDF files to a server?

No. The PDF tools process your files inside your own browser using JavaScript. The files are not sent to us, which is why they also work on slow connections once the page has loaded.

Is the gratuity calculator legally binding?

No. It gives an estimate based on the UAE Labour Law as we understand it. Your final amount depends on your contract and your employer's records, so treat the result as a starting point for a conversation, not as legal advice.

Can I use the site in Arabic?

Yes. Use the language menu at the top of the page to switch to Arabic. The whole site, including each tool, its explanations and its results, is available in Arabic with right-to-left layout.

Which countries is this for?

The tools are designed around the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman, but most of them, like the PDF tools and number to words, work for anyone anywhere.
