Free PDF tools: edit, organise and convert PDFs

Every PDF tool here is free with no sign-up, no watermark and no paywall at the download step. Most of them run inside your browser, so contracts, bank statements and ID copies never leave your device. The converters that need a server, such as Word to PDF, delete your file as soon as the result is ready. Pick a tool below by what you need to do.

Quick answer

Choose the tool by the job. The PDF editor changes words already in a file, Merge PDF joins files, and Split PDF or Delete PDF pages takes pages out; signing, watermarking, cropping, rotating and page numbering each have their own tool, Protect PDF adds a password and Unlock PDF removes one you know. To make a PDF, use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, JPG or Text to PDF, and to get the content back out, use PDF to Word or PDF to JPG.

Edit PDFs

Change the words already in a PDF, fill in forms, sign, add page numbers, crop margins or rotate pages that were scanned sideways.

Organise pages

Join several PDFs into one, split a long file into parts, or delete the pages you do not need before you send it.

Convert to PDF

Turn Word, Excel, PowerPoint and photos into PDFs that look the same on every phone and computer, with Arabic text kept.

Convert from PDF

Get an editable Word document back from a PDF, or save each page as a JPG image to share on WhatsApp or upload to a portal.

Questions

Are these PDF tools really free?

Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many files you process. The site is paid for by ads and optional donations.

Are my PDF files uploaded?

Editing, merging, splitting, rotating, cropping and page numbering run in your browser, so the file never leaves your device. The Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF to Word converters send the file to our server and delete it right after.

Can I edit the text that is already in a PDF?

Yes, with the PDF editor. Click any English word and retype it; it is written in a font with the same letter widths and saved as real text. Arabic text can be added, and editing existing Arabic is planned.

Do the tools work on a phone?

Yes. Every tool works in the browser on Android and iPhone, with no app to install.

Do the tools keep Arabic text?

Converters keep Arabic text and right-to-left layout, and the editor can add Arabic text with joined letters.
