Qatar Government Services: Hukoomi and Other Official Websites

Qatar gathers its e-services on Hukoomi, the national government portal, and government login accounts are managed through the National Authentication System. Tax, commerce and health each have their own official sites. This page lists the ones we opened and checked, with what each is for, plus the important sites we could not verify yet so you know where the gaps are.

Quick answer

Start at Hukoomi (hukoomi.gov.qa), Qatar’s government services portal, which organises services by life moments and by category, including citizenship and residency, employment and health. Accounts are managed through the National Authentication System (nas.gov.qa). Taxes are filed on Dhareeba (dhareeba.gov.qa), run by the General Tax Authority.

Before you use these sites

Use Hukoomi’s categories to find the right body

Because Hukoomi lists services from many ministries under one category, it is the safest way to reach residency, employment or housing services when you are not sure which ministry owns them. Its life moments section bundles the steps for events such as marriage or retirement.

Keep your NAS account in order

If you cannot sign in to a government service, the NAS self-service portal is where you reset your password, update the mobile number that receives codes, or unsuspend your account, so fix it there before contacting each ministry.

Watch for fake government messages

Most Qatar government sites use the .gov.qa domain. Our Qatar scam guide lists the fake fine, parcel and job messages reported most often and the official channels for reporting them.
